UAVAir Brings the Latest Drone Training to the UK
UAVAir has launched a national drone training school, offering fast track flying courses the width and breadth of the UK. Locations include Brighton, Perth, Exeter, London, Huntingdon, Farnborough and Uttoxeter. This month the school is running Unmanned Aviation Qualifications in Perth on 5-7 March 2016, set to attract a range of students from different backgrounds.
UAVAir is led by a team of industry professionals, who have years of experience in manned and unmanned aviation. The fully qualified instructors take students and experienced flyers through a three day course, which has a practical and theoretical approach to drone operations. On completion of the UAQ, participants will be able to apply for a PFAW licence from the Civil Aviation Authority and work with drones in a commercial environment.
Paul Rigby, Director and Head of Overseas Training of UAVAir said, “Our fast track drone course has been designed to offer students the very latest industry insight in UAV training and operation. Our safety standards and value for money are second to none, and we’re looking forward to training up the next generation of UAV pilots in the UK.”
Drone technology has recently been embraced by many industries, including agriculture, surveying, military, environmental work and aerial photography and videography. The UAV Drone Market for Commercial is set to be worth almost a billion pounds by 2020, so with commercial drone flying on the rise, becoming a UAV pilot is an interesting and stable career choice.
The team at UAVAir have years of experience in operating commercial drones, allowing them to pass on unparalleled knowledge to students to help them become professional aviators. Many of the instructors run their own aviation businesses, giving a real insight into the industry and what is required to become a professional UAV pilot.
The expertise offered by the executive team at UAVAir is second to none. With a combined decade of experience in military, engineering and aerial drone filming, many of the founders are also airline pilots, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the training centre.
Will Coldwell, Business Director and Joint Founder added, “The future looks bright for the drone industry, so there has never been a better time to invest in a UAV qualification. The opportunities are endless for our graduates, as having a professional qualification allows you to work in whichever field you choose. In just three days, someone could successfully make a wise career move and take their first steps into the unmanned aviation industry.”
